Our head instructor has been a very successful dental assistant for over 7 years. She has worked full-time, pat-time and travel positions. Not only does she have work experience in general dentistry, she has also worked in oral surgery, orthodontic care, cosmetic, and pediatric dentistry. Throughout her career she has held back-office management and head assistant positions. She has worked in multiple environments including dental clinics, OR, and nursing homes. One of her favorite parts of being a Dental Assistant has been educating patients families about best dental practices for oral health. She loves teaching!

Enrolling in Dental Assisting School was the best career decision for me. It has been very rewarding to help people in the community. I've had an amazing opportunity to work with the best doctors in the valley. I have been able to modify my work schedule to fit my life's needs and desires. From working full-time to working 1-2 days a week traveling all over Utah, I've always been in control of my work schedule! My ultimate goal has been to travel. Being a Dental Assistant has provided me with the opportunity to make it happen. There's so many types of facilities to work in that I've never been bored with my career.
